WNCC Housing / Residence Life - Contract Reservation Procedures
& Terms of Contracts
Residence Hall Contracts (Scottsbluff Campus)
Those students who mark on their admission
application that they are interested in on-campus housing
will automatically be sent a housing contract with their
college acceptance letter. To reserve a space, students must
submit their housing contract with their $150 deposit.
Reservations of space are accepted on a first-come, first-serve
basis, so students are urged to complete a housing
contract as quickly as possible.
Residence Hall Requests
All students will be assigned to a particular residence
hall based on the information submitted on the student
housing contract and the availability of the requested hall at
the time of contract submission. All requests are reviewed
when received, so students are urged to complete a housing
contract as quickly as possible.
Residence Hall Roommate / Suitemate Requests
All students will be assigned a roommate based on the
information submitted on the student housing contract. It
is our policy not to discriminate when assigning roommates
based on any reason. Every effort will be made to honor
mutual roommate requests.

College View Apartment Roommate Requests (Sidney Center)
Roommate preferences should be indicated on the
College View Apartments Application to increase the
possibility that requests will be filled. Requests for student
re-assignment should be made through the college.
Room Assignments
Only single WNCC students
or other persons authorized by
the WNCC staff may reside in the
apartments. All assignments are
made at the discretion of WNCC
staff. The college representatives
may reassign residents within and
between buildings/apartments as
deemed necessary to accommodate
the maximum number of students in
the most economical way.
Changes from one apartment to another may be
requested only after the first two weeks of each term and
must be approved by WNCC staff. There will be a $25 fee
for unit transfers. If you wish to transfer units, you must
a) obtain approval from WNCC staff;
b) schedule and
complete a Unit Inspection Form; and
c) check out of your
apartment within the given timeline
Any resident deemed difficult to live with by WNCC
staff may be removed from the College View Apartments.
Students without a roommate(s) after the semester begins
(due to no-shows and/or cancellations) may be asked to
move to another unit.
Apartment assignment to new students is made on first-come,
first-serve basis according to the date the completed
Apartment Application and the accompanying
$150 deposit is received. Notice of apartment
assignment for the fall semester is mailed by the
first week in August.
The college reserves the
right to assign or re-assign a student.
Terms
The Apartment Contract, from the beginning
date of the contract period, binds the resident to
the length of the contract selected. The terms of
the contract apply to the full academic year, or if
entered into after the start of the academic year, to the balance of the academic year.
Students contracting for housing prior to the first
day of classes each semester will be charged for the full
semester rate regardless of the date they check into their
accommodations.
Students contracting for housing any time after the first
week of classes each semester will be charged on a pro-rated
basis, to be determined by WNCC.
